WELL CONSIDERED GROUP SIZES

We are happy to deliver at scale for keynotes and large masterclasses. Dependant on the outcomes required we do not recommend over-stretching the number of attendees in some cases. Virtual deliveries should be treated with the same respect as face-to-face training. Instead, we recommend multiple sessions to be used to deliver on scale to larger groups/divisions where a deeper behavioural shift is required in the brief.

INTERACTIVE VIDEO-CONFERENCING TECHNIQUES

We have adapted the video-conferencing technology to replicate some of the physical techniques we utilise in our face-to-face training. We use break out rooms to facilitate group discussions and exercises, chat functionality and polls are used to aid continued engagement and virtual whiteboards allow us to capture attention and build frameworks on screen, much like flip charts in our face-to-face deliveries.

This training needed to provide practical tools and expert guidance on building personal influence and authority and preparing effectively for pitches and presentations. All to be delivered in a 2.5-hour Masterclass, in a live virtual format and be meaningful, engaging and applicable to a global audience. A tall order!

During lockdown, SAP needed to upskill their Sales Academy talent’s communication and presentation skills remotely. Our tailored virtual training led to some of the most remarkable shifts they’d ever seen across North America and Europe.

We collaborated with SAP to design a tailored training program that helped them to engage, motivate and unite the dispersed team. Delivered virtually through 2 x 4-hour sessions, over one month and two time zones to meet the needs of both European and North American contingents.

We focused on shifting the way the sales team designed their messages and delivered content for their audience – to avoid “spewing [marketing] material at the client”, and instead considering how to solve their business issues.

Bernadett shared that the very first piece of feedback she received during our training was that this was “the most impactful training they had received during the entire sales academy program”.

Prior to the COVID-19 crisis, a leading financial services organisation reached out to us to help facilitate day one of their LT offsite to help align the newly formed leadership team. They wanted support to revisit the team’s purpose, vision, values and ongoing strategy. Due to the pandemic, the delivery was shifted to virtual facilitation, which they happily reported kept them more engaged and accountable.

Acknowledging the current crisis, Colin updated his agenda to include our crisis management model to help frame the day. Guiding the team through the model he expertly weaved the division’s existing mission and vision into a discussion to circumnavigate the current challenges to support remote workforces.

Delivered over one full day in hour-long blocks with breaks, the small team of 9 kept to a strict agenda as Colin guided them through deep discussions and problem-solving exercises using the virtual technology.

The result: The team were prepped and prepared with frameworks and areas for development for their second day. They were able to meet the agreed outcomes for their time together, thanking Colin for his support to fast-track their thought process and provide expert insight.
