Dr. Darien Cohen, Ph.D.

Dr. Darien Cohen has spent over 20 years in the bio-medical space and has worked both internally and as a consultant for start-ups to multi-billion dollar publicly traded organisations.  He brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience from various roles in operational leadership, technology transfer, change management, training, performance management and executive leadership development. 

His early work included co-founding, developing, and leading Vita Heaven Inc, a first-of-its-kind clinic focused on the treatment of hangovers and the advancement of wellness therapies. He excelled in his extensive work with companies in the biotechnology, life sciences, and diagnostics sectors where he has played a vital role in bringing products to market that range from RNA amplification and bio-threat detection to in-vitro diagnostic devices used in the detection of various disease states.

Throughout his career, Dr. Cohen has been actively engaged in the facilitation, training and development of staff and is committed to positioning team members to achieve success. He has facilitated workshop groups of 10-30 people and has extensive experience in 1:1 coaching and mentoring

Strong leadership and communication skills have seen him work with a range of colleagues and clients from mid-to-upper management. In his operational leadership roles, he has also been instrumental in facilitating the optimisation of internal and external processes and systems with an emphasis on the identification of process bottlenecks, team training and the pursuit of operational excellence.
